Teamwork!

It takes a team:

While here in Brussels for our month of Cross Cultural learning we have several different teams have been divided into:

Our Ministry team - Howard is on the worship team and using his piano skills. Sandy is on the administrative team - Go copy machine!!

Our church attending team - We will be attending a Flemish (Dutch) church that was started in the early 1900's and the neighborhood around it has grown into a very multi-cultural place with a predominance of Turkish people. Ourselves, the Rudd family and a couple of interns will be attending their church and helping them with a Bible club they will be holding in a local park the third week of July (We may miss the one in Lethbridge, but we will still get to participate in one!)
Bethelkerk, Brussels, Belgium 2015

Pastor Gottlieb showing us around town and taking us to a Christian bookstore.
The park where we will be helping our friends at Bethelkerk hold a Bible club in a couple of weeks.

Our mentoring team - there are MTW missionaries who are attending for the month to guide us and make us do lots of uncomfortable stuff and then ask us what we learned. We will do daily journaling and other written projects during our month here - so DON'T let the beautiful photos fool you. We are doing a lot of challenging growing things along among some cool history with beautiful scenery.

Today's take-a-way is more than just you can stand on all those balloons without popping one if the team works together, it's that we need each other, we were built to function in relationship - with God and with each other as we serve him even though we may look different after we have been put under some stress.
