Starting a Sewing business

Here is a sample. Simple style with details. Young ladies jumpers and dresses. Watch for more details.

Farm Report

A new baby cow arrived last night, Howard is calling him Sven, to continue the "Norwegian" theme. Check out the size of the baby chicks, will move them outside soon to join the other ladies.
Howard is starting to plant the gardens and the grape vines have been moved and anchored. Let's hope we can keep the Japanese beetles away this year.

Fun at the Tennessee Aquarium

Had a great day at the Tennessee Aquarium with the kids and grandkids. We went to church in Chattanooga, then had lunch at Applebees with some friends from Florida. Then on to the Aquarium.

Grandparents Day with Carson.

We joined Carson on Valentines day at his school, they combined holidays and invited grandparents to eat lunch. We ate most of Carson' lunch for him.  But Grandpa did convince him that peaches would give him string muscles!

Two New additions to the farm!

Howard grooming one of the new cows. One of the cows has a white mark on his forhead, so he is going to be called blaze...he joins Ivan...still working on a name for the last baby cow...

The adventure of feeding cows in the rain.

So, the next cow to become "dinner", otherwise known as'35', tried to run me over to get at the bucket of feed tonight. He ended up knocking it out of my hand and knocking me into the fence. So I threw the bucket at him, ran and got a big stick, chased him away, then bribed him with a small amount of feed to eat away from the other cows.
Good thing they are tasty!

#35 is  the cow in the middle - hamburger meat!

Baby Chicks Have Arrived!

After years of buying the chicks at the farm store and taking luck of the draw for roosters/hens we decided to order all hens!

Deer spotted.

Saw them and then chased them away- they were headed towards the apple trees!

New baby cow has arrived!

We found a new source for calves for the farm. They cows are called Norwegians. Howard rode in the back of the truck with him. I have nicknamed him "Brownie", he is a deep chocolate color.

Snow fun with the Pearce Family.
