The Foundation

Finally the work begins. The foundation for the barn was poured at the end of May, these shots were taken May 24th.

The Chicken Coop

These pictures were all taken between May 20 and May 26th. This is the chicken coop, the first thing Howard built. It is where Howard, Mike, Max, and all of the other helpers have stayed while building the barn. It is also the home of the toilet. Don't you wish you were there? Ha ha. The toilet does have plumbing though!

August 2007 - John & Becky's Trip to Tennessee

John + I went to TN last August to look around and see maybe where we would want to live. We mainly visited Athens and Cleveland. We also went to see dad's property. Here's a picture of the property before dad did an clearing.
